"Enhancing Human-Centered Computing and Security Applications with Emerging Sensing"
ENGR 301
Abstract: In this presentation, he will explore the integration of emerging sensing technologies to enhance human-centered computing applications. He will talk about various topics, including leveraging biometrics and physiological signals for user authentication, utilizing IoT devices to improve Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), and enhancing security within AIoT environments. A key focus will be on wearable-based biometric user authentication. Ear wearables, in particular, present unique challenges and opportunities for authentication due to their limited input interface and rich sensing capabilities around the head. He will discuss how these sensing opportunities and features can be utilized to capture unique biometrics for improved security and usability.
