Non-Degree Seeking Enrollment for Undergraduate Level Courses
If you are seeking enrollment in an undergraduate level course (anything below the 500 level), you will need to apply to the University of Arizona as a Non-Degree Seeking Student through Main Campus - Tucson, even if you plan to take the course remotely.
For the application:
- Indicate "engineering" on the application to be evaluated for enrollment eligibility. This is required.
- Also indicate Main Campus. We offer our fully remote courses for SIE through Main Campus – not through Arizona Online. If you apply to Arizona Online, your admittance will be delayed and you will have to undergo a campus change.
- Please see application deadlines for each term here.
Things to consider:
- Approval to take any given SIE course will require a transcript evaluation to check for completion of pre-requisite coursework.
- We do not offer all of our classes every term. There are only a select few that are offered during summer.
- Summer enrollment typically begins at the end of April for Non-Degree Seeking Students.
- Not all courses are offered online. Please consult with a SIE advisor to inquire about course availability.
Once admitted and approved for engineering, contact a SIE advisor for enrollment and include an unofficial transcript. If you meet the course pre-requisites, you will be manually enrolled by the advisor.
