SIE Alum Appointed to Kaman Board of Directors

Kaman Corporation, an aerospace and defense company, recently appointed SIE alum Michelle J. Lohmeier to their board of directors. The board also appointed Lohmeier to serve on its audit and finance committees. 

According to Kaman, Lohmeier currently serves as strategic advisor to the CEO of Spirit AeroSystems, Inc., a position she has held since 2019. She previously worked at Spirit AeroSystems and Raytheon Missile Systems. She earned her masters in systems engineering from UA, and was appointed to the board alongside Aisha Barry, vice president and general manager of Koninklijke Philips.

"Michelle enjoys an impressive background with operational experience as an aerospace business leader, and Aisha enjoys an equally impressive background with leadership roles in both industrial and medical markets.
