Larry Head Wins the ITS Arizona - Best Intelligent Transportation Systems Project

Larry Head and his team won the prize for the prototype "smart drive" traffic system that was developed by the University of Arizona and Maricopa County. This system helps clear red light signals and warn of traffic blockages.  SIE/ECE/Math student Jun Ding won the best ITS Arizona student paper award. UA had the only finalist papers.
