EMG Student Wins 1st Place in UA Deloitte Consulting Case Challenge

EMG student Gerard Torres was on the winning team that garnered 1st place in the 2013 Deloitte Consulting Case Challenge at the University of Arizona. Undergraduate and graduate students who participate in the challenge get a realistic experience in technology consulting through a hands-on simulation based on an actual Deloitte project.

The Teams analyzed the case and formulated a solution and recommendations. Then each team presented their work to a panel of judges. Judges from Deloitte Consulting evaluated the presentations and selected the winning teams.

This is the second year in a row that an EMG student has been on the 1st place team. Blaine Light was a team member for the 2012 competition.
