Researchers Receive Best Paper Award at 2016 IISE Conference

On May 23, PhD candidate Seunghan Lee and department head Young-Jun Son received the Best Paper Award in the area of service and work systems at the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers Annual Conference.
Their paper, "Extending Decision Field Theory to a Multi-agent Decision-making with Forgetting," was one of 445 presented at the conference.
Son's group has seen similar success at past IISE gatherings, winning best paper in the category of modeling and simulation in 2005 and 2009 and in the category of homeland security in 2008.
