Babak Haji Joins the Team
Babak Haji earned his Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Southern California in May 2015.
His dissertation was on queuing loss systems with skill based servers and discriminating arrivals. His teaching and research interests are in the area of stochastic process and queuing theory, as applied to service, manufacturing, communication networks, and data centers. More specifically, his research involves stochastic systems from the point of view of analyzing specified systems and in obtaining optimal or good heuristic operating policies in such problems. In the former case, he utilizes both analytic and efficient simulation techniques, in the latter case he utilizes ideas from stochastic dynamic programming.
Welcome, Babak!
