An article on sports blog SBNation.com gives a glimpse into BrainGainz, the UA-created mobile app that helps student-athletes learn about the symptoms and dangers of concussions. Developed in part by associate professor Ricardo Valerdi, the technology uses Google Cardboard and a smartphone to create an immersive simulation of a tackle during football drills.
