The Digital Engineering Factory (DEF) is a web-based platform at the University of Arizona designed to enhance engineering education through digital thread integration. Using a hub-and-spoke architecture, DEF connects engineering tools into a central database, enabling graph-based data representation with semantic web technologies. This talk explores DEF's applications for student learning, instructor support, and advancing digital engineering methods.
